As far as I can see, the only argument against allowing retards to voice their political opinions is: "a lot of people are retards and as such many may be converted to the stupid person's cause". That our species is so stupid is cause to be sad. Furthermore that "intelligent" people have to censor some opinions to save the "stupid masses" from this mental corruption, strikes me as deeply disturbing.
The "protecting the masses from corruption" idea always seems a bit Warhammer to me. Maybe if the people who espouse this point of view had spent more time painting tiny lead figurines... erm... I'm not sure where I'm going with that.
