Annulment, not Divorce.

Please, historical fiction writers (coughPhilippaGregorycough) and The Tudors, when discussing Henry VIII use the term "anullment" not "divorce". Divorce was illegal and non existent in the 16th century. People got annulments ( Read more... )

hahaha. I was just rewatching the Tudors and Katherine at one point tells Charles V "I think the king is going to ask me for a divorce" and I was like "nuuuuu! He's going to ask for an annulment, which is WORSE!" xD
