I think yes. you should stay friends with Steve. Just be sure, to keep your own morals, such as.. if you want to work on not smoking, don't let him keep you from doing it. but i think your friendship is a good thing, everyone should have friends. plus, you can't just destroy that deep of a friendship. it's unthinkable, and who cares if he's your ex-boyfriend, that doesn't mean you can't still be friends. :)

From what I have heard about ur friend Steve, he sounds like an awesome guy. You just need to be more stern about YOUR feelings and dont do anything u honestly dont want to do. :) then everything will be all gravy, baby ;)

Yes, he can make you happy like no one else can, and I just like to see you happy. I agree with the others, too.
