FIFTY-SEVEN!

I still can't wrap my mind around that.

I can't believe that anyone in the medical profession was willing to go along with that. I can't believe that these women didn't know that they were pregnant. I can't believe I made it through about 2 hours of that show!

Holy shit. Seriously, what the fuck? I can't even begin to... Seriously? I can't form coherent sentences in my head right now, let alone type them.

The oldest women to give birth ever gave birth about a month ago I think. She was 66. Sixty six. If I recall correctly. I don't even know how that works. Apparently you have to travel to the former Soviet Union for these types of things.

Yes, I believe the oldest woman in the U.K. to give birth is 66, but two years ago, when this woman gave birth, she became the oldest at 57. I think the 66 year old had the procedure done somewhere in Ukraine. But I did find a case mentioned online of a different 66 year old who traveled to the US, had IVF, and simply lied about her age (she said she was 55).

My sister told me about that show and watches it sometimes. I watched part of an episode with her. These girls must be really dumb to not realize they have a child in them for 9 months, jeez.

Yeah, they are. Although you'd be surprised how many of these women are told that they are, for whatever reason, infertile. And then whoops, not so much. ;-)

It really does make you question the whole medical profession, especially when there have been episodes where the woman is labor and the doctors don't know what's going on. D:
