Oh go to hell NOW.

I was really, really hoping that someone else would take the initiative to write something about how Obama and his administration have defended the Defense of Marriage Act (heretofore known as DOMA) in federal court by equating homosexuality with incest and rape of a child*, by stating that states have the right to ban blacks from marrying whites, ( Read more... )

I feel that Obama is a homophobe, and ... well would I say sexist, too? In the primaries he was, but, now he's more ... I don't know. He has women in his cabinet, so maybe he's not sexist, I guess he's just not strong enough on women's rights.

And yes DNC, please choke on the Kool-Aid you're chugging down like crazy.

Just wait until Tim Kaine or someone else in the DNC says "Oh fuck. We fucked up when we fucked over Hillary Clinton in the primaries. We were such stupid fuckers. Fuck us."

I believe he's sexist. It's just easy to be less sexist when you don't have one of those silly women competing against you like she could actually be President too.

I am doubtful that the DNC will ever admit what they did was wrong. D: I've been very Debbie Downer-y lately in terms of how much good people are capable of, and frankly, I'm at a point where I feel like if the top echelon of the party had any idea that what they were doing was wrong - enough so that they would apologize for it at some point - they wouldn't have ever done what they did. If that makes any sense.

True. So now he can look as if he's not really sexist ( ... )

Of course there are awesome people in the Democratic Party. I love all five of them. ;-) I am not a member of the Dems and will probably never be, as a result of the 2000 elections. The party would have to become a lot more liberal and pull its head out of its ass in order for me to really consider joining it. I understand why people join and remain in the party, but I've never considered it a good fit for me. This kind of shit just reinforces that for me.
