What is the ONE thing that you think most people just don’t “get” about your muse? Why do you think that is?

The one thing I think people don’t get about Connie Murphy is that she is not Karrin Murphy.

I think that my background (parents - actors) has helped me a lot to learn to accept that what I see in acting will NOT be the same as what I read on paper. And especially since she's obviously different, I would not expect of her to be the same.

It is entirely to easy to discard a muse/film/production/interpretation because it's 'different'. But that certainly limits one's choices a lot.
... it's kind of like trying to expect, I don't know, my cousin to act exactly the way I do. Sure, we're related. So what? And if she doesn't act like me, what, she's worse, she's less than me? Nah, that just does not compute. Each character is on her/his own. With RP, I'm used to the idea that each version of the character, EVEN WHEN PLAYED BY THE SAME MUN, should be seen as separate. Just because.

I know people are always going to compare Connie and Karrin, just like they're always going to compare the Harrys, and that's fine. I compare the Murphys all the time, but that doesn't mean one's less than the other. Still, you don't hear people saying that Connie so better than Karrin, ever.

I must strike down this bais as much as possible! The two are equal and teamed up, could take over the world easily. Which is why I love them both.
