[for Lux]

The partially finished tree house is as good a land mark as any, even if standing under it and staring at the house doesn't give him any better idea of how to approach the hut he's been looking for.  Finding out where Lux lives wouldn't have been that difficult without asking Jason, but--after realizing his mistake concerning the auction, stalking Jason's girlfriend had to be taken off the table.

Even if Jason stalks him across the island, more often than not.  Tim wouldn't be surprised if he'd redoubled the effort after his query, but if he's following him now, he's doing a better job than usual.

And Tim...doesn't mind it, really.  He has his secrets and his double standard about what people get to know about him, but there's something to be said for being watched, for being held accountable.  It's half of Robin's job, and Tim understands how Jason was still doing that, when he came back to Gotham.

Now there is no Bruce, no Batman--just his replacement, still trying to live up to the standard.  He can start by knocking on Lux's door and apologizing--now for more than he'd even planned.

She's probably going to hit him again.  He gets close enough to rap on the door, then moves a few feet back just in case.  She probably won't hit him with a brick or anything, but considering their last encounter, she really doesn't need to.  "Hello," he calls, which may prepare her or just give her reason to prepare, to find a brick, but maybe he can get some of this out before she starts tearing him a new asshole.  "I'm not here to collect my time, I want to apologize.  It was stupid and I don't actually want to make you hang out with me.

"I mean I did, but that's the stupid part."
