"Gay is not a synonym for shitty," as Pete Wentz says. Whenever I hear someone say "that's so gay," I tell them this. Sometimes they look uncomfortable, sometimes they go, "what?" and sometimes they're like, "whatever." But I feel like I'm making a difference in my own little way. :) Another thing to say is, "What's so homosexual about it?" which I find pretty effective.
Rock Sound... I found Rock Sound in Hot Topic, I think. Not that issue, but a different one. Just keep an eye out wherever magazines are sold, you should find it.

As for the "this is so gay" thing, my friends/other people around me say it all the time, and it annoys the fuck out of me, but there's no real use in trying to stop it. You can't fight ignorance with violence or rants, anyway, so I use it as a reminder to myself, that I should tolerant of other people's views on certain things, even if they aren't tolerant of mine. :D
All I want for Christmas right now is for you to get that calendar! ♥
It's not much of a view, but yeah, I know, I can't be trying to educate every ignorant person. It's kinda funny, because we're learning about ignorance in spanish class and the results and causes of it.
Oh, but why nobody told that teacher that he is a fucking stupid asshole?? Oh how I hate this kind of people, intolerant and stupid... :(

Aw man, someday, someone probably will. It'll probably be me. With a stab in the eye as well. When I graduate, I'd probably go to him and flick him off. Just two more years. :(
