well, I've never gone anywhere, but I have friends who grew up in Europe and they've said many wonderful things. My best friend Lars was born in Norway and has nothing but good things to say about it. He says that the people in Norway are much much friendlier than here in the US. There's a good chance you won't be alone much; lots of temporary companions surely await you wherever you go.

As for me, my only travel story is the time I went to Disny World in Florida as part of the Brookyln Youth Chorus (too many caps in that last sentence). We were part of the staff for three days and got to behind the scenes all over the park and perform on some on their stages and an amphitheater. Unfortunately, we had to work so much we didn't get to experience most of the park. It was very disappointing for a big group of pre-teens, but a really great experience looking back on it now. Plus we got tons of free food.

Other than that I haven't been anywhere West of Lancaster or North of Rhode Island.
