bagged lunch

To save a few pennies, I've been brown bagging my lunches to work. My co-workers go out to eat lunch regularly, spending anywhere between $8-12. That comes out to around $40-60 a week if I ate out with them all the time. Yesterday, they went to Pig & Whistle, trying to get me to go with them. You did the right thing!

But...here is a cool idea, invite the group to Lunch on the lawn/park/what ever is similar near you guys.

People bring their lunch, and you can bring other stuff to share too if you want.

We do this often. We have a park 2 blocks away, so it is a nice walk also.

Some people pick up a sandwich near by, but most bring their own.

We have been teaching Dune to make his own food way in advance. At 16 he eats a lot. But by reducing to his own mass made food, he is at about $3-4 for lunch, vs $5-8. This is money we are letting him pocket.
