Mileage Oddity

Yesterday I filled up the 'BertMobile. We have to record our mileage on the fuel card for work, and not only was it 1010 but I used pump 10! The girl on the till didn't believe me. Still it's a slightly more positive reading than when I turned up at church a couple of weeks back: 666! Blimey

I *really* like The Big U - yes, it's young and cynical and unpolished, but you can see the seeds of so many of the things that he obsessed over in later books. Really Good Stuff.
