Just in case people don't realize...

We ordered our copy from the UK to get a proper copy. It will not arrive for a few days, so we do not wish any spoilers of any sort (emailed, comments, spoken, written, etc.).

I'm not sure I'd go so far as to defriend people (either online or in real life) but it would be very tempting.

I'd never say anything in another's journal unless it was already in discussion in that journal.

I can promise to use LJ cuts for any HP discussion for the next while.

This is also in case of people having discussions in communities or other journals. Not everyone gets their copy tomorrow! (Though I do wish it were otherwise!)

And while some of us may have actually had the book delivered to their homes yesteday, they were unexpectedly away! (And thus the timeframe carefully carved out for reading has been lost. Of course I do have to accompany Sweetie to surgery on Tuesday, so that might give me a huge chunk of time.)

BTW, not unhappy unexpectedly away. Very very joyful, in fact. But still - I'm here (VA) and my book is there (NJ.) With any luck the neighbors I asked to keep an eye out have borrowed it. ;)

I'm getting a UK copy too. Jac was kind enough to buy and mail one since last time Amazon.co.uk decided not to even start shipping my book for a *week*.

Mine's coming from Britain too. I'm avoiding anything with Harry Potter in it right now (except for some old fanfic that I'm sure is safe).
