The single most moving piece of music I have ever heard. It almost makes me cry every time I hear it. It represents change, getting older, life moving on with time.

I like the way the incorporated the watercolors into it.

eric satie, autumn, classical music

Way way back in my day, there was a local tee vee commercial about water/land conservation/ecology that featured this piece of music. Lots of close-ups of water striders and red maple leaves drifting lazily on the current. Lovely.

There was a video of this song on Youtube that was all atumn scenes and falling leaves. It was beautiful, but embedding was disabled. Which rocked my mind, as this song was on when Dave and the kids aand I were coming back from Steamboat 2 weeks ago and the foliage was on in full force. I mentioned this to Dave, about the seasons changing and the tune representing change to me. I damn near cried in the car. And then that video. Wow. <3

Have you heard any music by Roger Eno? If not, you should. You'd absolutely love it.

That's off of the "Voices" album, which is one of my favorites. The last cut on that album is so incredible that the first time I heard it I sat down in the middle of the floor and cried like a baby. It was so beautiful it sucked the air right out of my lungs.

Damn, now I have to go dig that CD up. (I just moved, I wonder which box it's in?)
