I'm spending December trying to finish my angst_bingo card so dark and moody is my current theme. Lol, saddest December ever.

It's so him.
Though, honestly, what I love the most is how you've written this square. Normally I hate 'unrequited' because usually there is one of the main characters offering and being turned down and it always hurts. In this, you do that, but softly. And not only that, but somehow it feels like it's unrequited from both sides. With both Cas and Dean loving each other in different ways, and wanting each other but differently, and Cas offering (as always) but Dean unable to accept.
The only thing that would make this more awesome would be a sequel where they come to some kind of agreement. You have quite a beautiful opportunity for 'kink: boding' in there :P

That's a huge compliment, because that's almost exactly what I was going for for this square. Where it's almost unrequited from both sides. They both want things, they're aware that they're not quite the same things the other wants from them, so they stay back a little. There's a love there but it's not the same and it's difficult. But it's not tragic - and there's the possibility of change.
I'm really happy you liked it, thank you for reading :D

Dean really should tell him that his joking voice and his deadly serious voice sound exactly the same. He needs to work on that.
