I kind of love this pairing, Damon is, without doubt, a devil on a leash and I do like the idea that Alaric has power enough to make him not want to do ridiculously evil things.

This was so good. I love the way they are both settling in to their relationship, learning their boundaries. And Damon refusing to give Alaric the easy way out of being compelled into bed is just perfect - he obviously has to admit that he will go there of his own free will for Damon to be satisfied.

And this line: His life really has become a mess of beautiful and frustrating contradictions. There's a strong possibility Stefan has discovered some way to make himself contagious. And isn't that a horrifying thought.

Made me lol. It's interesting how Damon is suddenly surrounded by people with morals whom he doesn't hate. It makes me wonder just how much they'll rub off on him in a purely physical sense of course

Thank you very much, I do like the idea that they're at that stage where they're carefully testing the boundaries and Damon doesn't want it to be easy. I'm pleased you thought it worked.

Whether he likes it or not Damon is being influenced by everyone, all those people with ethics and morals, poor Damon :)
