In the matter of consultations...

It's really quite astounding that no one does their research before asking for magical solutions to mundane problems. Really now, magic can't solve everything, and for stars' sake, not all magic is flashy. Just because I don't waste energy making things sparkle-- well, that's not important. What is important is realizing that if the tension and ( Read more... )

The Parks and Open Space Division would likely be the group you'd wish to speak to It's good to hear from you, Sheska.

Thank you very kindly, Naoto. Are you doing well? Other than your understandable frustrations, that is...

Yes, that aside, Kanji and I are doing quite well.

Wonderful, I'm glad to hear it! It seems like you've both been so busy. Don't you have any time to rest and relax?

Magic spells?

Yes! I am in the business of setting up wards and magical barriers for those who feel their homes are unsafe or in need of a little added protection. I also have some knowledge of scrying spells, if someone needs something to be found, and I charge lower rates than the hospitals for small healing spells - nothing elaborate, or strong enough to take care of something immanently life-threatening, but enough to, say, heal a broken limb.

It's not a large selection of magics, but it's enough to be able to help those who may need it.

Do they really work?

Of course! I certainly wouldn't advertise them if I hadn't tested them... Heavens, if someone was hurt because I'd sold them faulty spells, I wouldn't be able to live with myself, that's certain.

Ah! I can get you some from the forest Sheska. That way you don't have to worry.

I need to make a run through today anyway. Another one of those dinosaur things ventured down into the forest and I don't want it to get too close to the city.

That's very kind of you, to be sure! But only if it's not out of your way, and if it won't get you into trouble... And if you're going to fight a dinosaur, please be sure to wear that shield charm I gave you!

Don't worry Sheska! I will, I promise!

And I'll bring you back some branches and twigs when I get done. Whatever I can carry!

Government office? When you can speak to MDEA employees on the network? It sounds like you like to complicate things, baby.

Ah! My apologies. I wasn't certain that they would have a representative watching these channels. Particularly for something so trivial as cutting twigs and leaves from trees. Please pardon my rudeness, but would you be able to tell me if such actions would need official clearance?

You don't have to be so polite with me. I don't mind.

That depends on whose trees they are.

Ah... Certainly.... I'm sorry.

I thought, perhaps some of those in the central park, as there are a large number of well-developed trees there and it would be unlikely to injure them.
