I don't agree that she has to drop out for the good of the party. I think that would be pandering to the republicans if she does. It's a democratic process that has been in place for the Democratic party -It's not over until that very contrived and long process is over.

If it is over for Hillary than the election is over for me. I won't vote in November if Obama is the Nominee. I will not simply choose the lessor of the two. I will not vote for Macain, but I don't think that Obama is ready for the job.

See, this doesn't make any sense to me. I'm not a Clinton or Obama partisan, but I see either of them as vastly preferable to "hundred years, thousand years, ten thousand years," "there's gonna be more wars" McCain. Even if Obama isn't quite ready, I'd rather have someone not quite ready to do good than someone ready and willing to do evil.

Of course, if you're in a solidly red or blue state, you can sit it out without consequence. But if you're in a contested state, would your conscience really bother you more if you voted for Obama than if you sat it out and McCain won?

Obama to me is an inexperienced unknown. And that worries me to no end. It worries me because he is an unknown, with pretty speak with little experience behind that. I don't want someone yet again who will have on the job training. But that's just me.

I'm a fierce Clinton partisan who frequently wants to beat the crap out of Obama, but I would never in a million years opt for McCain. THINK OF THE SUPREME COURT!!! :(

Do you really think Hillary will drop out before the convention? I really can't see her doing it. She can win Ohio and Texas, but unless they're huge blowout wins, which is pretty unlikely, Obama will still be the number one afterwards. I think most realize that neither candidate will be able to get enough delegates before the convention. Will Hillary give up knowing that she might get the candidacy at the convention using super delegates? I hope she is reasonable for the good of the party, but I have a hard time imagining it happening.

I think you underestimate her considerably. She's a partisan Democrat, and she'll do what need be done for the party, as will Bill. I've no doubt that she would step aside if she loses Texas/Ohio (one or the other).

My husband said it might be more interesting if McCain had an affair with a man, since his sleeping around with women is old news. I winced and told him firmly that he may not slash that man with anyone.

Thank your husband for the extraordinarily disturbing image.

I'm still on cloud nine after last night's debate (I somehow got in with her press detail and got to meet her; mine = the life to lead), so no negativity will affect me today. LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL AND GLOBAL WARMING IS NOT KILLING POLAR BEARS AND THE OZONE IS STILL IN TACT AND WE CAN HAVE A MADAME PRESIDENT. Denial is a river in Egypt, and I'm sailing on it.
