Now, admittedly, we used to get freezes in the middle of the city, but it's been some twenty years since it last happened (and we can't remember the last time the pipes froze!).

Big companies are getting out of paying their taxes by striking deals with auditors.
Mr. Lynch, the auditor who retired in California, and many others complained that the effect of the policy was to allow the Bush administration to achieve administratively a further easing of the corporate income tax burden far beyond what Congress has approved legislatively.

The thing about Hil is, while I disagree with her current Republican ass-kissing and her support for the war (why must you break my heart, Hil, why?!), she's a brilliant woman, a shrewd politican, and, in my opinion, the only candidate who might actually be able to do something with our current situation that wouldn't lead to total disaster. I've NEVER liked Edwards, Dodd's a total wildcard, and Obama....love the guy, but does he have ANY experience? So, while I don't think a woman stands a chance (KILLS), I kinda hope Hil gets as much backing as possible.
Iran is keeping me awake at night, haunting my dreams. I'll be sleepwalking soon.
The Virgina Assembly can kiss my pro-choice ass. Potts, on the other hand, can marry me!
