You know, I wouldn't be at all surprised if all of this wouldn't be used to say nudge Britain to extradite several wanted enemies of the Russian state in return for cooperation (Russian prosecutors would love to get their hands on Mr.Berezovsky and a few former Chechen leaders currently in London.)

Do you think Britain would extradite those people? And would it depend partly on what they are wanted for? Say, for acts of terrorism, rather than just for being anti-Russian government.

Jack Straw's warning makes me think the former, except the Orange Revolution was kinda on the "unrest" side of "unrest and terrorism", and the way it got played in the media it was a victory for democracy, etc. The Chechan guys, well... kinda more on the terrorism side? Who knows.
I know I wouldn't wanna be extradited to Russia, though.
