You're welcome, glad you approve.

On the one hand, it's sort of sad how impressed we are with a Republican speaking out about these things. Says a lot about where the Republican Party is these days, and I don't think it's an accident that he's a retired Congressman. On the other hand, it'd be a lot more sad if he weren't out there.

I keep hoping that the innate decency of most ordinary Republicans, coupled with a growing understanding of how we're all getting screwed, will cause them to vote against this radical regime. With the growing opposition to the war, the rash of Republican scandals, and both the pink and brown menaces waning in relevance for the moment, I'm cautiously hopeful that this time it will happen. (And not get erased by Diebold.)
