I wonder what kind of "materials" they are passing out to encourage voters to go to the polls. Probably the old rigamarol of "TERRORISM, BABY-KILLERS, and GAYS, OH MY!"

Well, high voter turnout is good. Let's target the evangelical church goers with additional GOTV efforts and encourage them to vote as well.

We can make the flyers look like their own church flyers, and carry a message of real Christian values like: loving everyone, even strangers; living life by Jesus' high standards; never disparaging others; being kind to the poor; taking responsibility for our mistakes.

Those conscientious voters just may turn out and vote for sensible progressive Democrats like they always should have to begin with.

Caveat: I am not even a Christian, but there is a lot of good Buddhist teaching in Christ's message to the Jews and Gentiles. Let's put that to good use.

There is nothing Christian about the presidency of George W. Bush.
