Jesus fuck, NOT THIS SHIT AGAIN.
Last night on the House floor, Rep. Steve King (R-IA) downplayed the violence on the ground in Iraq, claiming his wife is taking a greater risk by living in Washington, D.C. King said:

God, WORD to everything you just said. I remember the last time I was up in DC, and I accidentally got lost in one of the rougher neighborhoods, and even then, I remember thinking, "Shit, this is just like parts of North Charleston that I wouldn't go into." In other words, EVERY American city has crime and neighborhoods where crime is rampant. But until those neighborhood gangstas start leaving IEDs in the middle of the road and suicide bombing Starbucks, then every single rep needs to shut the fuck up about how "safe" Baghdad is in comparison to America. Yeesh.

Besides, all these politicians & their wives live in the swanky Georgetown/Dupont type neighborhoods where a 2 bedroom townhouse costs $5 million and there's practically no crime. So they need to STFU regardless.
