The Rude Pundit has uncovered "possible" Ann Coulter plagiarism.
Ann Coulter has a bad habit. And that habit, as mentioned before by the Rude Pundit (followed up by Raw Story), is that she appears to like to copy whole sentences from other sources without putting them in as quotes or even citing where she might have "paraphrased" from. Wow. If I did something like that, I'd be out on my ear faster than one could say "theft". It's funny how people want to preserve intellectual property rights until they actually get caught ripping something else off themselves. Then it's all the fault of the "liberal media", whatever that is.

However, I've come to the conclusion that this woman doesn't really want to believe what she's saying. If she did, she'd be barefoot and pregnant, making some dude a sandwich or giving him a blowjob. Oh, wait--only liberals give or recieve teh ebil oral sexx0rz.

Yeah, I saw someone on Keith Olbermann last night saying "don't take a word she says seriously", because apparently Ann is (a) trying to stir shit up to sell books and (b) joking in her sick, fucked up way.

I must have a bad sense of humor then.

It ceased to be funny when she started talking, actually. It's not us with the defective sense of humor. It's just the fact that Ann can't tell a joke worth laughing at.

I have a friend that loves her. She thinks she has great things to say. It bothers me. But then again, she was going on about the liberal media the other day so...yeah. She's a devoted Fox News fan. Gross.

This is an extremely pointless comment. Carry on.

Hell, there haven't been any repercussions from the made-up citations found all over her books a few years ago.

The first one is undoubtedly lifted, but I wouldn't call the second one plagiarism. Sadly, if they're looking to nail her on direct lifts, they're going to need more than one.

However, I have no doubt that the eeebil lefty blogosphere is hard at work even as I type...

Yeah, the second one is really stretching it, but the first one seems a clear case of lifting.

I'm hoping the people at Media Matters & other liberal fact checkers are on the case!
