That sucks, but at this point I'm hoping it's like the Boy Who Cried Wolf. I mean, the first time? A lot of people were eager to have someone to bully, no matter how much of a sham it was; I'm getting the feeling that doing it *every time someone disagrees* is wearing on people and they're seeing through it. Murtha's a tough SOB, though. He hears stuff straight from the military men who aren't saying anything directly to the adminstration (who wouldn't listen anyway; as most of them are draft-dodgers with little actual respect for the military).

*nods* That's the impression I'm getting too. It's almost like the Freepers are doing this out of habit more than anything else, because Murtha made those initial Iraq statements over 2 months ago. If they really wanted to damage him, they would have slammed him right away... or waited until re-election time, at least.

Considering that I've heard about the response before the attack, I suspect that this one is already sputtering uphill, out of (Iraq war) gas ;p.
