Republican Congressman Resigns

Rep. Randy "Duke" Cunningham said Monday he is resigning from Congress after pleading guilty to taking more than $2 million in bribes in a criminal conspiracy involving at least three defense contractors.

Makes you wonder how many other senators and representatives are getting their palms tickled but haven't yet been caught.

I was seriously just a couple miles from having this guy as my congressman. Thankfully I'm in the 53rd district instead, represented by Susan Davis, a Democrat. Yay!

You have no idea how thrilled me and my family are that this ass is no longer representing us. Plus we can now go around giving smug looks to our Republican neighbors who kept voting for him.

That video of him crying, though... Oh, man, that does NOT get old.
