Usually when Jon has a guy like O'Reilly on, the audience will sort of pretend to be polite, and make the occasional "boo" or scoff. But last night, they really let him have it. Which, thank god, because he really really needed to be booed:

Honestly, after watching last night's TDS and Colbert Report, I felt the latter was actually funnier. I mean, "Jim Brady" calling Stephen Colbert a "Jon Roberts wannabe" was hillarious.

I hate to say it, but Colbert is a much better interviewer. Jon has always been kind of weak on the interview front.

I agree with the above comments about Stephen being a better interviewer. I think it's because Stephen's doing the "I'm a giant ego centric jack ass" thing and so he comes off way more confident than Jon. Jon kick ass in the open, but I usually study/check my flist during the interview :/

First off, OMG Omar Epps! Is that an icon from House? I don't watch that show, but I *adore* Omar. I've loved him since Juice with Tupac, and I loved him on ER, etc. He's one of my favorite, vastly unappreciated actors.

Second, WORD on this:

Yup. Now that I'm watching on my DVR again, I usually fast forward the interview to the "Moment of Zen" and erase. Jon's strength is the opening news recaps, but he kinda needs to go to interview school. *sigh*

I always forget The Simpsons! Which is bad, because I totally watched The Tracy Ullman Show when I was a kid.
