I can't believe I missed this two days ago, but I must link to it now, because it's the BEST.EDITORIAL.EVER. and everyone needs to read it.
( Recent months, and especially the past two weeks, have brought home to a steadily growing majority of Americans the truth that President Bush's government doesn't work. His policies are failing, his approach to leadership is detached and self-indulgent, his way of politics has produced a divided, angry and dysfunctional public square. )

The shit that librals, independants, and democrats alike have been saying since the doomed year of 2000. It's a sad reality that it took over 786 billion dollars later in debt, over 2 thousand lives lost in Iraq,a racial/class/sexuality divide in this country, and destruction of an actual state to "wake up" those ignorant people who worshipped this so-called leader.
I'm very pleased that *now* people are *finally* realizing it. But you know what? The damage has already been done for years to come. For my generation to deal with in our impending elderly age.
So everyone who just woke up? Welcome to the real world. And now let a sorry Democrat clean up the mess in 2008.
Because thats what always happens. Sad, but thats the political world we live in.

They never got it. We weren't GLAD to have a chance to skewer someone. We wanted a REAL leadership, and a REAL government. We wanted a CHANCE to prosper and flourish.
We haven't been blindly shouting about the state of Bush because it's FUN, but because we were terrified. And now, we see we were not the boy who cried wolf, and it's bitter indeed.
We were Cassandra, and now we're the Oracle of Delphi.
