I propose an amendment to your last statement. Concentrate all of the nation's stupidity in one place that does not have a lot of electoral votes.

Ha! Exactly - South Carolina only has 8 electoral votes regardless. And hey, if worse came to worse and they got like 20 EV's, then we'll just migrate more people to New York or California.

Yeah, they've been planning that for a little while now. The secession part sort of cracks me up.

I thought I remembered a Rolling Stone or GQ article a couple months back on this concept.

Seriously though, forgetting how the Confederacy tried this 150 years ago, just the Libertarian experiment in New Hampshire ought to be a reality check for these morons. It's not so easy to just up and carve out your own country.

What? They don't believe that the theocracy of their wet dreams is here? Somebody get these people a reality check! Or perhaps a few bullets in the head.

*facepalm*

That explains so much. It was all one big typo. The promise land isn't Canaan, it's the Carolinas.

Honestly, how fucked up are these people? Do they not realize that religion was one of the cited reasons we decided to get the fuck away from England in the first place?

I'm just waiting for them to say they should reinstate slavery because slavery was acceptable in the Bible. Seriously. Fucktards.

I was already in a bad mood...wrote a response to an editorial in the paper that said that supporting the troops but not supporting Bush was "absurd" and evidently not possible. My response read something like this:

On Monday, August 29, Mr. Jerry Snyder suggested that "not supporting Bush is absurd," and that it ought to be equally absurd to claim support of the troops in Iraq and Afghanistan if denying the President your support. As one who does not support the President but has high esteem for those serving our country, I find this stance highly offensive ( ... )

Well, duh! Are you still reading the old, typo filled bible? Silly you.

Exactly. Also, didn't they read the part in our history books, where a couple firebrand states tried to succeed, and it was a big old disaster? Helloooooooooooooo?

And I love your letter to the editor. *applauds*
