underwater lights (wip)

After finishing the dragons we were slightly bored of working in monochrome, so we got out a load of paints and started messing around with colour. I didn't feel like this painting really came together in my head; I found it difficult to focus on and although occasionally a fragment of it would leap out at me and appear to be utterly exquisite, but I couldn't integrate those flashes of beauty with the whole. As with the tea dragons, we rotated the canvas every so often to try and balance it between our two styles. I think there's promise in this, but it's not there yet. While we were working on it we thought it might be the ocean, galaxies, a crowd of people dancing. For the time being I've called it Underwater Lights, but the name will probably change if we rework it.
