Books finished

I'm not sure when I last posted about the books I've finished, but here are the most recent.

To Kill a Mockingbird: I read this in high school but just re-read it. I love, love, love this book! 5 stars, no question

Twilight by Stephenie Meyer: Not mindbreakingly good, but I enjoyed it anyway. Teenage romance, with vampires. I gave it 3 1/2 stars.

I love Mockingbird as well. Have you watched the movie? It is done very well. I feel that Grisham's A Time to Kill is similar to Mockingbird. Wow, imagine that Me, talking books again! Currently I am still focused on AS books, my lifeline to reference.

PS...Little is doing better and may be home on Tuesday, keep your prayers going. He ahs been able to go onto the unit without meltdowns. He has also been able to go low level when getting upset so the staff has time to get him to the quiet room before complete meltdown hits.

Cool! Hugs and smiles!

I have seen the movie, and I couldn't help but picture the actors (especially Gregory Peck) when reading it. Did you know that the character Dill was based on Truman Capote, who was Harper Lee's childhood friend?

The book and the movie are both excellent. I first read it in 7th or 8th grade. Now I can't re-read it without "seeing" Atticus Finch looking like Gregory Peck, who is my favorite actor of all time.
