Having Way Too Much Fun

So, I'm fiddling around with a story. The characters come in two groups of five; five Gods and five humans. On a tangent, I rarely see "gods" capitalized in stories. Why not? We capitalize "Senate" and "Senator." We capitalize "Asians" and "Asian." We capitalize "Londoners" and "Londoner." So a group of occasionally corrupt lawmakers, a group of ( Read more... )

Wow. That does indeed sound like way too much fun.

And since I know a little about your human characters, let me try to guess which one is which. Hmm... okay. In age order: Emilie, Rhys, Tremaine, Amy, and Hakon.

You got Hakon right, but Emilie and Tremaine are in each other's places. Although I wouldn't be surprised if you were remembering in the wrong age order. Tremaine is water, Rhys is metal, Emilie is earth, Amy is fire, and Hakon is wood, and if that's what you were thinking I'll give it to you, 'cause who doesn't occasionally forget the Chinese elements' associated life stages?

I apologize to those who have no idea what I'm talking about.

Yay! As you know, I recently picked up on writing about Dre again. It's mostly to take my mind off of the fact that my peacock boy is still unnamed, and I'm being distracted by SaiMono releases and its *GASP!*-worthy events.

I look forward to more of this story! You know how much I love elementals, and have a tendency to love my own far too much. Leo is a sign of Fire, and I have almost never met a Fire elemental that I didn't like. Okay, maybe Azula and Fire Lord Ozai from Avatar.

Watch as my peacock boy ends up being something not even on that list that I shared with you. I think I might just start writing his story and see if I can get him to say his name.

Happy writing! ♥
