Yes, i think it should be a site for giving thanks full-on: tributes, devotional photos (though maybe different from Pimp My Altar somehow, diety statues, diety altars, idk), maybe posting your favorite prayers, prayer requests (also may be beyond the scope), and maybe posting things we're grateful for, answered prayers, devotional experiences, insiprational articles, etc.
This might be way too broad, i don't know. When i think of libations and thanksgiving, those are the topics that come to mind.
LJ cuts are good; it keeps things neat. It also gives privacy for people who want to read their friends list at work without totally outing themselves to their coworkers.
Community guidelines are important to me. It is a main deciding factor for me when i'm considering joining a community. It will also let people know if what they're about to post is topical or not.
Great responses! I do think that Community Guidelines are important. If for no other reason than to stress to all members the importance of tolerance. Unfortunately some people feel the need to express their Spirituality in a way that is critical of the Spirituality of others. And I do not want that to happen here. I'm getting ready to leave for my Friday at work. But anyone reading this post: Any suggestions on proper wording of the Guidelines would be helpful. When I get home this evening I will put together something and submit it to the community for thoughts and suggestions. Blessings to all!
