Farscape season 1

I'd forgotten how incredibly dodgy season 1 of Farscape could be. I had also forgotten just how awesome Aeryn Sun is. I mean, I always knew she was great, but I'd forgotten exactly how great. It's been awhile since I've watched any Farscape, so that could be why. I've watched the first four episodes of season 1: Premiere, I, ET, Exodus from Genesis

I'm having such trouble slogging through s1. It's not just the plots that are dodgy, either, the sound (both score and dialogue) is vile and jarring and ugh. But Claudia Black is awesome and beautiful as is Aeryn Sun, and Ben Browder has a very nice ass, yes, and it amuses my how much John and Aeryn get into each other's personal space.

My favorite D'Argo/Aeryn moment is at the beginning of s2 (don't read this if you don't remember), there's this great exchange when he's woken up from his coma or whatever and John's all check out who's among the living and Aeryn's all yes, I have eyes, you doofus, and D'Argo has this OMG SOFT look in his eyes and goes "I have eyes as well, and they're very pleased to see you alive." And I go all gooey and then she snubs him. Sigh.
