Weird Al and Cyndi Lauper actually belonged to the same litter. Their mother's name was Nikki. She was this big black cat we'd had when I was a kid.

And both were named appropriately, too. Both were black. Weird Al had an orange patch around his left eye that became a stripe. It traveled to the base of his neck down to his butt. Cyndi Lauper had an orange puff on the top of her head, just like the real Cyndi Lauper (at the time. I am an 80s child, after all).

I love kitty stories, too.

I have three cats at the moment, (and the one in the box on the tv that I know will someday be resurrected by the radiation. Pandora - she was 23 when she finally gave up. Yes - it is Pandora's box!)

Anyway - The Boy, AKA Eric Cartman or Boy-san (although he prefers Boy-sama,) Moose and Squirrel. The three of them are Persians - the VW Bus of cats as my Vet says (prone to problems only a specialist can fix.)
