Migrating to Dreamwidth

Long time no hear, gentle readers!

When Mervin and co. of Das_Sporking fame moved to Dreamwidth, I considered moving the spork as well, but wasn't very motivated. The spork was already finished and it displayed correctly... however, I recently checked up on the spork only to realize that for some reason, all the images have been locked and classified as 18+. I still read this entire page from time to time. Once every few years I get the urge to fall back down this rabbithole and I read every single thing; the two 'novels', the numerous spinoffs, the myriad fanart dreck. It's still one of my favourite things to do on a rainy day. I suddenly got nervous you'd fallen off the face of the earth and so would this monumental project; one of these days I'm going to have to find a way to download the entire thing.

Anyway, thanks for the endless entertainment!

Hello there! Thank you for the kind words!

This is one of my and Iscariot’s dearest projects, and we reread it from time to time as well!

The migration to Dreamwidth has been successful, the only problem is the images we used are still linked to LiveJournal and therefore need to be replaced with copies that are uploaded directly to Dreamwidth. This takes time, especially since DW formatting seems to go bananas whenever I make the slightest edit.

I hope I can get it done by next year.

It always makes me smile when I read messages from readers who found the spork fun to read ❤️

I love this spork. I truly love it -- mostly because of you and Iscariot's additions, of course. Reading it feels like a wonderful mixture of hanging out with friends and utter exasperation at what this... THING... is. I actually downloaded all your Slave sporks to PDF and put them on my e-reader, where I re-read them at least once a year. Hope you managed to move to another social site okay, because I'd love to see what you're working on now. Thanks for all the good times (and bad fics)!

Sorry for answering so late, it took me a while to find my password. Thank you for your sweet message. Iscariot and I were delighted to read that our little project is still being enjoyed and appreciated. Working on it was a lot of fun and we too reread it for entertainment once in a while. Cheers!
