There were pocket MP3 jukeboxes before the iPod. I still own one. They were fairly tragic efforts.

There were smartphones before the iPhone. I still have at least one of them, too

You can't readily buy second-hand organic food, but second-hand Apple kit is fine. :-) I've had dozens of Macs and paid for one ever -- the one I'm typing on, a used Mac mini 2011 model, with 8GB RAM, a fast-enough Core i5 and a half-terabyte disk. About £150. Tiny, simple, quiet, reliable
