Liam needed no further urging to take off for the house at a run. Tearing into the living room, he found his Pixie curled up on the couch with tears on her face. "Chuck?" No sign of Marcus. "What happened, sugar?"

She did manage to point towards the front door before dropping her hands to her lap and staring at them. "I told Maggie that he was seeing Rina because she thought he was desperate or something. I don't know. He got mad about it. I don't know."

"I'm sorry you got caught in that, Tiny." Pressing a soft kiss to Chuck's temple, he gently rubbed her opposite shoulder. "Marcus has been trying to persuade Maggie to go out with him, so apparently finding out about Rina got her all kinds of pissed off." He sighed. "Although why it should bother her so much when she's been shutting him down every chance she gets ... still. I'm sorry, pretty girl. Like you said, you didn't know."
Liam tickled Bagel's ears, then rubbed the back of his neck. "I should probably go talk to him."
