Flames

So over at DeviantArt I received my first-ever fanfic flame, and it made me laugh. Remember the Team Building fic, a silly story about the Rogues getting tricked by Sam? They discuss what gimmicks/weapons they have with them, and Piper mentions having a pitchpipe. So my new friend replied with:

What the fuck, a pitchpipe? As if he doesn't have ( Read more... )

He'll apparently need an x-ray to determine if it's a stone, and with his anxiety at just going into the vet's office, I can't imagine how he'll freak out over an x-ray :|

I was good, and thus not rude :D The urge to snark was strong, though...

Exactly! I figured he'd keep a small instrument or two around even if Sam had persuaded them to leave the weapons at home.

Also: it was a SILLY fic with a ridiculous premise, so it's kind of odd to complain about one tiny plot point. If she really didn't like the story, a comment about the dopey overall premise would make more sense.

Silly commenter. When I discover accounts like that I just report them for the caps - not the stupidity. Hope all goes well with the kitty.

I can't be bothered to report her, not unless she decides to mess with me further (which seems unlikely).

Thanks, me too -- he's not been feeling well for a while, and we've already spent like $400...

awwww, first flamer, congrats.

although I wonder whether behind that particular flame is malevolence and stupidity...or just stupidity because someone doesn´t know what a pitchpipe is.
*shrug*
and no, posting copyrighted material etc on DA is not allowed....except you make it your desktop bg. loophole^^

And I still can't find the Happy Meals Captain Cold figure at multiple McDonald's in multiple cities. What the hell.
at least you get the toy line, last time I checked I would get Clone Wars and Pony stuff when ordering a happy meal

poor pepper, hopefully it´s nothing too serious

True...but it's frustrating as hell that I SHOULD be able to get it easily, because it IS available around here, and yet nobody has it. I've been to McDs in Waterloo, Kitchener, Guelph, Burlington, and one beside the highway, and all waves BUT the Cold/Kid Flash wave have been available at some point or another. Some of the McDs have now moved on to new toys now, so am I ever going to be able to get it? (aside from Ebay)

to think that someone actually makes an effort to flame -.-
I think I got a troll-flame on DA recently; someone showered praise (even on things I didn´t do - shading and such) over a stupid doodle. I don´t know how to reply to that -.-

so am I ever going to be able to get it?
one mc donald used to have a shelf of happy meal toys from previous lines and you could buy them separately. but that was only one mc donald and I don´t know if that shelf exists even more.

Unfortunately it kind of is :\
just read it, so sorry.
*hugs*
is it sure that he needs the 1500 surgery or is there maybe an alternative? that sure is a lot of money -.-

LOLwhut? Some people, I dunno. Either ignore them or politely thank them for their comment, I guess.

Hmmm, I haven't seen anything like that. They'll sell what they've got in the store but probably don't advertise it.

Thanks :\ We're not sure, but the vet seemed to think it was pretty necessary because it's unlikely that the stones will dissolve on their own. And as long as the stones are there, there's danger that one will cause a blockage (and probably more bladder infections).
