This was a very interesting read. Thanks for posting it.

Bloom claimed that it is not knowledge that triggers beliefs but rather deference -- whom do you trust?

I wonder if that is not one of the reasons the NT is so big on the testimony of the eyewitnesses, rather than a presentation of 'these are the facts'.
