Good reveiw. I'm glad you did it. But the fact that even you haven't done Lewis justice (to my mind) emphasizes to me what a writer he was. I honestly believe that anyone at all who wants to think about art and criticism should be required to read and wrestle with this book directly, not just by reading a review.

But maybe you've hooked some people. =)

I think this was one of my longest entries ever, but no, I did not even scratch the surface of his experiment. He is so concise, yet so complex; it's really amazing to me.
