Yeah, the layouts in women's stores rarely make sense, and I've worked retail forever. As far as sizing, I also agree. With the exception of one company, which makes one cut and size that fit perfectly to that I don't even have to try them on, I've started wearing men's pants, because the sizing makes sense. The thing is, I like shopping...but I can try on 20 things to find a single shirt that fits. That also has to do with being not plus size, but differently proportioned than stores want me to be-if it fits my chest, it will be loose across my back and waist. If it fits my waist, my hips and thighs won't go into it, etc. *pthbbt* to the whole lot of them.
