OMG I just read some of the comments and all I can say is how can people be that dumb? Seriously?! Slash is not real life. If the football players found out some of the stuff that's written about them...I'm just cringing at the thought.
Most hilarious is one comment saying "don't tell them anything fandom related". Uhm, too late. I'm cringing at the thought of them finding out. They really don't need to know.
Fangirls can be such idiots. Like the ones in the SPN fandom wearing "Jared fucks Jensen" shirts at a convention. A convention which has special (actor) guests who, of course, know the guys personally and.. hello, brain? I mean, I don't have anything against RPS/RPF but why is it so hard for these people to understand the quality of it? And why can't they see that these things (like posting those links to a 'personal' account) always end badly with all the fandom wank going on etc. Meh.
Yep. I've heard some girls actually asked Jensen and/or Jared if they knew about fanfiction and slash. The guys weren't amused.
I don't understand why it is so hard for these girls to distinguish real life from fanfiction. And to post comments like "oh, boy love" to Sergio's personal account... that's just insane.
This is the same utter bullshit that people were reporting back in February around figure skaters and their twitter accounts. Some idiot linked back to the slash fic another woman had written about the skater and the author was horrified.
The line between fantasy and reality is becoming horribly blurred as are social manners.
