Oh no! The hair!

Yesterday I went to the hairdresser, I looked in the photo books for a new model... my hair was long enough to try something new (it was a little bit longer the Gwaine's *points to icon*) Shoulder length really. I had seen several examples but nothing really caught my eye so I asked the hairdresser for advise and- and... and I let myself be talked ( Read more... )

But I know what you mean, I often feel the same way when I come home from the hairdresser... and I never get a short haircut. My hair goes down to the waist and I hate every bit that has to be cut. O.o

Wow, to the waist! That's really long. I wonder, do you wear it loose sometimes? And and don't you get many knots in it? (I was amazed how many knots just shoulder length hair could get)
I don't think I would have the patience to let it grow that long (once in a while I get a spontaneous idea to have something different and yeah, then I end up with something like this ^^;

I always wear it loose when I go out for a date or something. When I'm at home or grocery shopping, I have a bun on my head. :)
And oh, don't get me started on knots. *whimpers* My hair isn't exactly straight, it's wavy and... hell. I need at least an hour to comb it.
It isn't so much patience, really. My hair grows really fast and it's just cheaper to not have a short haircut. When I go to the hairdresser, I always whimper, though. :) I had it at shoulderlength cut at my marriage, and now it's waist length again.

An hour to comb it? ... on the other hand if I think on how much time I spent on just shoulder length I can easily believe you. Am I right to believe you wear it in a braid to sleep or is that a bun as well? Oh but wavy hair is beautiful.

And it's much cheaper indeed, short hair needs a regular visit to the hairdresser... if you want to do it right ^____^;

I wanna see your hair! I'm sure it looks really cool! Don't miss your long hair, it will grow back if you really want to, for now you probably look really awesome!

I know, that's what I keep telling myself. In a week or so I'll probably be used to it, I just have to be... And who knows, perhaps I will not want 'longer' hair again ^^ (not that it was that long)

Thanks for the kind words, I might post a photo under friends lock if I manage to take a decent one.. LOL a 'before' and 'after' even ^___^

When I cut it off I had no regrets at all. I was happy with my short hair and cut it even shorter XD Sometimes I want long hair again, but it will take so much time I don't bother to let it grow. Maybe one day you will think the same XD Or not and then you just let it grow again!
