You can always trust Lindir when it comes to chocolate. He's invented the stuff, after all. That firm in Switzerland has just stolen his recipe.
BTW, we bought one of those golden Eastern rabbits from Lindt in Vienna. It has a little bell around its neck. I'm sure it has escaped from Imladris. Lindir must have lots of stress, that poor Elf, if his rabbits were able to get away unnoticed.
Poor Lindir: his recipe stolen and his rabbits running off across Fourth (or is it Fifth?) Age Middle-earth! Of course, given rabbits' rates of reproduction, perhaps he won't notice there's one missing?
You should never say that last thing. Now Lindir thinks that you think he's stupid (=can't count), is miserable, sits in a corner in my study and won't speak. Which upset Erestor horribly - you know the guy is the born worrier - and now he won't talk to me, either. Which means I'm unable to make any headway with that long-overdue Innocence chapter. *sighs* Elf-men and their fragile egos...

Oh dear. Well, tell them both that I apologize. I did not mean to suggest that Lindir is stupid - not at all. I was thinking that the rabbits would multiply so quickly that no one could possibly keep an accurate count. So, if a few should slip out the hutch door, no one, not even the most diligent of Elves, would notice.

What kind of chocolate do you like best? Dark, bittersweet, milk, what? Let us know, inquiring minds and all that...
I hope your basement is drying out nicely without incident...
I hope you have a wonderful Easter....
I miss you....
I love the fact that two respondants to this posting have Cat icons: one the adorable kitten, and the other a honkin' big black panther... (grin) the juxtaposition is adorable!!
