Oh, thanks! I totally didn't catch that.

And you recognized him from the article, too, didn't you? I'd both read the initial article and the Time magazine cover story, and so I knew the name. He's done a great job getting his story out there and helping change the way the media approaches the issue.

I remember the article as well. Can't wait to watch it. Another common theme is incarceration and the treatment that both immigrants and LGBTQ people are subjected to once they are incarcerated. Thanks for the rec!

Very, very true. And on that same theme, I recently also saw a powerful story about the double jeopardy of incarceration as an immigrant subject to deportation, Cambodian Son. I think you'd enjoy both. M.
