I think, the best way I can explain it - I clicked over to a fic in a different tab and was surprised to realize the POV character could see. I love the care and delicacy you took with character!Stephen and his religion, well-timed switches to Jon POV, lots of well-chosen phrases that give the story such depth ... anyway, it's obvious that you put a lot of care and thought into this, and it is awesome.
god, this makes me go guh and it's not even porn. I guess I just think that really, really, really good writing is hot. Or something. :) But seriously, I was expecting this to be amazing because I'd read amazing stuff of yours in the past, and then it still blew me away. (Not right away, though. *snerk* I've learned that lesson from Bill O'Reilly.) Anyway, my point, basically, is A;SLDKFJJAWLOFJ;ASLDFJAA;LSKDJF;ALKJD;FALSKDJF;A WHY IS THIS SO GOOD. The characterization, as always, the thought processes, the simultaneous intensity and precision, the originality (for one thing, I think I've rarely, if ever, seen fic in which "Stephen" had his IRL family, with the same names and everything, but it seemed to work here), the sheer language of it all, I don't even know. How to put it or how you do it or anything!
Okay, thank you SO much. Haha! Oh, that's incredibly flattering. *blush* Um. Yeah, I don't know, I seem to have fewer boundaries with "Stephen" and Stephen, because if I'm writing fic about them, they cease to be RL people in my head. Don't know if that's good or bad. I'm glad the language worked - I was kinda going for the language immersion thing, because you're not supposed to be able to see.
Thank you so, so much for such a lovely comment, and sorry I fail so hard for getting back to you so late.
Thank you so, so much, I'm glad you enjoyed it. To hear that your life has changed, now that's something ;) LGBT fest tends to have some wonderful, very personal work created. I suggest you check the other fics out and maybe participate!

OMG IT IS SO BEAUTIFUL.
Over at FNFF, they were pimping LGBT fest, so I decided to come look and stumbled over this.
I feel like my life has changed. That's good fic!
