Dear God, did the end of this make me cry tears of hope and joy and sorrow and just this utter mess of emotions I can't even name, because this is them. The whole thing is the them that I love. "The them." But, really, what else could I call this?:

"I'm going to tell you why I'm scared and then make you make me feel better about it, which is totally unfair of me because I'm the one who is supposed to be comforting you," she answered as matter-of-factly as possible.

Them. Her. Him. *flailhands* Because, dude, you had me speechless at even let her fail at wanting him.
