This was really interesting. It was almost more like reading an essay on Trill than reading a story, in terms of how you laid out your line of reasoning here. It also reminds me of Ezri, because the story makes it a lot more immediately obvious why Ezri was so terribly confused about herself. It makes one appreciate Jadzia's self-confidence more.
