Thank you! It's risky including sex in something serious, but I tried to do it in a way that furthered the characters. Glad you think it worked :-)

Thanks! It's quite a complement to know I managed to completely derail your workday (I'm a little evil :-D). And I was acutely aware of how easily a story like this could run off the rails as I was writing it-- it made me quite nervous. So I'm delighted you liked it.
