No, no, sorry. :) It means that instead of wearing the post-op boot - mostly because I couldn't find one in the entire city of Atlanta! - I'm wearing socks and sandals over the bandage instead. No other shoes will fit.
So the injury's not visually obvious, but socks and sandals are a bit of a dorky combination. Thing is, since it's not visible, people will look at me funny if I do something like ask for a cart or use a crutch.
The sandal's not holding it as steady as possible though so once I get a post-op boot (I ordered one) I will likely switch. That may make a difference. We'll see.

If you wanted to do D*C after all, though, you could do a scooter or something. Just thinking aloud.
